Large Diaphragm FET Condenser Microphone

The Kiwara KA-87 is a precision-built take on the classic 87-style large-diaphragm condenser, a studio fixture for decades thanks to its detailed sound and versatility.

A K87-style dual-diaphragm capsule, low-noise FET circuitry and a custom-wound output transformer give it a balanced, full-bodied tone, with cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8 patterns to choose from. A shock mount and wooden case are included.

Inspired by a Legend
A center-terminated dual-diaphragm capsule modelled on the original K87, low-noise FET circuitry and a custom-wound output transformer recreate the signature tone of the vintage 87 style.
